Antonio Abad

Antonio Abad is an accomplished aerospace professional with extensive experience in various technical and leadership roles. Currently serving as an Associate Fellow at AIAA since September 2023, Antonio has held multiple senior positions at Hispasat since 1991, including Chief Technical and Operations Officer and Satellite Operations Engineer. Antonio is recognized as a Fellow by both the International Academy of Astronautics and the Académie de l'air et de l'espace - Air and Space Academy. Previously, Antonio served as Vice President of PROESPACIO and worked as a System Engineer at Telefónica. Antonio's academic credentials include a General Management Program from IESE Business School and advanced studies in Aeronautical Engineering, with both MSc and PhD courses from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
