Israel Rey

Israel Rey has extensive experience in innovation and business strategy, currently serving in the Innovation Ecosystem role at Hispasat since October 2019, focusing on exploring new business opportunities and developing innovative products and services. Prior to this, Rey was a Professor at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, teaching strategy and innovation for a degree in Public and Private Fundraising in the Third Sector. As the Chief Innovation Officer at Grupo Inmark from June 2017 to October 2019, Rey aimed to enhance customer experiences and drive organizational efficiency. Rey co-founded and served as CEO of Animalvitae from September 2010 to October 2019 in Spain and Mexico. Previous roles included commercial responsibilities at Laboratorios SALVAT and ARX Automatización de Farmacias, along with providing financial consulting services in various entities from December 2003 to March 2007. Rey holds degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and in Biology with a focus on Genetics from Universidad de Sevilla.
