Veronika Gocheva

Chief Scientific Officer at Histide

Veronika Gocheva has a wealth of work experience. Veronika began their career in 2007 as an MSc student at the Institut de Génétique Moléculaire de Montpellier (IGMM), where they studied Cell Cycle Regulation in Oncogenesis. Veronika then moved to the CRBM - Centre de Recherche de Biochimie Macromoléculaire, where they studied Tyrosine Kinase Signaling in Oncogenesis. In 2008, they began their PhD at Université Montpellier 2, where they studied Single-Molecule Biophysics, Gene Expression Regulation, RNA Biology, and Molecular Motors. In 2013, they became a Postdoctoral Researcher at CNRS. Since 2014, they have held the roles of Chief Scientific Officer, Member of the Board of Directors, and Vice President Research at Histide.

Veronika Gocheva earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of Montpellier in 2012, specializing in Single-Molecule Biophysics, Gene Expression Regulation, RNA Biology, Molecular Motors, and Microscopy. Veronika also earned their Master's Degree from the University of Montpellier in 2008, specializing in Oncology and Cancer Biology, Stem Cells, and Biochemistry.
