Melissa Gogo is an experienced professional in historic preservation, graphic design, and marketing. Currently serving as Hands-on Historic Athens Coordinator at Historic Athens, Melissa previously held the role of Map D Production Manager at Nextech3D.AI, leading a creative team and consulting for DXP projects. Melissa's extensive background includes production management and marketing at Map D, outreach management at Mobile Town Guide, and public relations coordination at the University of Georgia's College of Environment + Design. Earlier experience encompasses community visioning at the Fanning Institute, graphic design at the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, and customer consulting at FedEx Office. Melissa holds a Master’s degree in Historic Preservation from The University of Georgia and a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Art History from SUNY New Paltz.
