Amy Pitts is a seasoned communications and public engagement professional with extensive experience in the heritage sector. Currently, Amy holds the position of Director of Communications & Public Engagement at Historic England since July 2019, having previously served as Public Relations & Programmes Director. Prior to that, Amy worked at the House of Commons from May 2014 to July 2019, where responsibilities included the strategic development and operational management of Visitor Services and Retail. Earlier experience includes the role of Visitor Experience Manager at Historic Royal Palaces from March 2012 to May 2014. Amy completed a Bachelor's degree in History at the University of York from 2005 to 2008.
