Sarah Gillispie

Sarah Gillispie has a diverse work history. Sarah started their career as an Inside Sales Representative at Microsoft in 1994 and then worked in various roles within the company's human resources department, including Benefits Assistant, Executive Administrative Assistant, and Mergers & Acquisitions Administrator. Sarah also served as a Human Resources Generalist, providing guidance on employment issues and partnering with recruiters for fair hiring practices. From 2002 to 2010, Sarah took a professional sabbatical. Afterward, they joined the Sumner School District as an HR/Communications professional and later became the Communications Manager. In 2020, they moved to the Puyallup School District, where they initially worked as the Director of Communications and is currently the Executive Director of Communications and Public Engagement.

Sarah Gillispie received a BA in International Liberal Studies from the University of Washington.
