Luke Wormald

Luke Wormald is a prominent professional in the field of historic environment policy and conservation. Currently serving as the Head of East Region and Infrastructure at Historic England since October 2017, Luke has held various key positions including Senior Listing Policy Adviser and Listing Adviser. Prior to this role, Luke was the Head of Historic Environment Strategy at The Scottish Government from July 2013 to October 2017, bringing strategic insights to the sector. Luke's career in the heritage field began at Historic Environment Scotland, where various roles were held from March 2005 to July 2013. Academically, Luke holds a Master of Science in Architectural Conservation from Edinburgh College of Art and a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of York.
