District Visitor And Community Manager at Historic Environment Scotland

Laura Millar is an experienced management professional in the heritage and tourism sector, currently serving as the District Visitor and Community Manager at Historic Environment Scotland since April 2016. In this role, Laura oversees visitor operations and engages actively with local communities and stakeholders across 20 significant sites, including Glasgow Cathedral and Dumbarton Castle. Previous positions include Monument Manager, where Laura managed dual site responsibilities for attractions with over 130,000 visitors annually, and Relief Monument Manager, focused on cash management, retail ordering, and coordinating cruise ship visits.
