Noemi Giovelli is a Heritage Management Officer at Historic Environment Scotland, focusing on planning, consents, and advice services, as well as serving as a Conservation Science Officer on the Stone Survey project. Giovelli is an Editorial Board member for ICOMOS UK and has experience as an Academic Tutor and Teaching Assistant at the University of Strathclyde, contributing to the Master of Science in Architectural Design for the Conservation of Built Heritage. Research efforts include investigating the stability of natural building stones under high-rainfall conditions for vulnerability assessments. Previous experience includes an architecture internship in Italy and a research internship involving multivariate data analysis. Giovelli holds a PhD in Architecture from the University of Strathclyde, alongside various degrees in Architectural Design and Conservation Science.
