Amanda Wilson

Museum Educator at Historic Hudson Valley

Amanda Wilson is an experienced art educator and museum professional with a diverse background in teaching and programming. Currently serving as a Museum Educator at Historic Hudson Valley, Amanda specializes in storytelling through tours focused on significant artists and their connections to history. In addition to this role, Amanda has been an Art Teacher at Scarsdale Public Schools and The Art School at Old Church, where original artwork based on children's literature and introductory drawing and painting classes are taught. Previous experience includes a position as Professor of Art at St. Thomas Aquinas College, where undergraduate and graduate students were trained in art education. Amanda's earlier career includes designing corporate identity for the Wildlife Conservation Society and contributing to educational programming at various cultural institutions. Amanda holds a Master’s Degree in Art Education from Manhattanville University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts.
