David Gough has an extensive work history in the IT industry. David began their career as a Technical Analyst at Metropolitan Police, where they provided support for seven different sites around London. David then moved on to Toyota (GB) plc, where they worked as a Technical Analyst supporting over 250 dealership networks nationwide. After that, they joined Historic Royal Palaces as a Telecoms and Project Support Analyst, managing the new telephone system and cabling projects across multiple palaces. David later became a Technical Analyst, responsible for helpdesk support and system upgrades. Finally, they transitioned to the role of Web and Digital Media Analyst, where they designed and implemented new web pages and integrated sites with back-end applications. In 2017, David was promoted to the role of Web Technical Lead, overseeing the smooth operation and administration of the organization's web portfolio. Throughout their career, David has demonstrated strong technical skills, organizational abilities, and interpersonal skills.

David Gough completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a focus on Network Communications at Kingston University from 2001 to 2005. During the same period, they also pursued an Advanced GNVQ in Information Technology at Kingston College. In addition to their academic qualifications, David obtained certifications such as Umbraco Developer Level 1 from Umbraco in September 2015 and Prince 2 Foundation from APMG-International in December 2011.
