Chrisanne Beckner

Chrisanne Beckner is a Senior Architectural Historian at Historical Research Associates, Inc., having joined the company in August 2013. Beckner specializes in cultural resource management surveys in accordance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and Washington's State Environmental Policy Act, and opened HRA's Olympia office in 2014, working across the Northwest to document architectural resources in multiple states. Prior to this role, Beckner operated as an Architectural Historian and Preservation Consultant from January 2010 to August 2013 and served as an Editor/Writer at the University of Oregon from August 2008 to September 2009. Beckner's career began as a Staff Writer for Sacramento News & Review from August 2001 to June 2007. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Oregon and a Master’s Degree in English Language and Literature from San Francisco State University.
