Dario Sarlo

Group Creative Director at History Factory

Dario Sarlo is a music historian and critic who has worked extensively on the life and work of renowned violinist Jascha Heifetz. Dario is currently the Creative Lead at Dario'story Factory, and has previously held positions at the Kluge Center, Library of Congress, LocalArtsLive Philadelphia, and The Strad. Dario is also the co-editor/translator of the biography "Jascha Heifetz in Russia" published by Indiana University Press.

Dario Sarlo received their PhD in Dario'storical Musicology from Goldsmiths, University of London. Dario also holds an MMus in Performance & Related Studies from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a BMus in Music from King's College London. Prior to their studies at the collegiate level, Sarlo completed A-Levels in Music, English Literature, French, and Italian at Christ's Hospital School in Horsham. Dario also undertook Junior Dept Study in Music Performance (First study: violin) at Trinity College of Music Junior Department.

They are on a team with Marissa Piette - Senior Director, Account Management, Sara Eagin - Senior Curator, and Ryan Szarwark - Designer. Dario Sarlo reports to Bruce Weindruch, Founder & CEO.
