Andrzej Cholewinski

Andrzej received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Imperial College, London and has numerous publications in the fields of second messenger biology, calcium imaging and image analysis. He has over 30 years of experience in the Life Sciences, both in academia and the pharmaceutical / biotechnology sector. He has been involved in image analysis applications and development in prior positions with Imaging Research Inc., Amersham Biosciences, GE and more recently spent over 12 years at Definiens as a Sr. Program Manager / Application Scientist. Andrzej's expertise lies in tissue and cellular image analysis for a variety of staining techniques, with a focus on immuno-oncology, the tumour micro-environment and biomarker profiling.
