Mark Duncan joined Hitachi Capital America in 2014 and is the Executive Vice President of Commercial Finance and Corporate Development. He is the General Manager of HCA Commercial Finance, responsible for the Business Finance, Structured Finance, Trade Finance, Vendor Services, and Funding Portfolio Services divisions. Mark also heads corporate development, leading strategic planning across Hitachi Capital America and all acquisitions, equity investments, and partnerships.
Prior to Hitachi Capital America, Mark worked for 19 years at GE Capital, most recently as Managing Director, Corporate Development, and was responsible for growing GE’s commercial finance business via acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions. He began his GE career as an Investment Analyst in the Corporate Finance division and held increased roles of responsibility during his tenure.
Mark received his BA from Michigan State University and an MBA from Northeastern University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
