Don Scott

Don Scott has a diverse work experience spanning a wide range of industries and roles. Don started their career as a Facebook Marketer, using their skills in viral marketing to create Facebook apps and collect data for marketing firms. Don then worked as a Project Manager at SofterWare, Inc., where they led a comprehensive project to replace multiple CRM systems. Don also served as the Owner and Operator of ObsidianCraft Inc., where they developed a system to capture, analyze, and interact with Minecraft's multiplayer packet stream. Don later joined Lehigh University as the Committee Chair for Inclusive Excellence, where they made policy recommendations to create a safe and collaborative learning environment. Don also worked as a Founding Director at AssetGateway LLC, leading the company's success in small-business distributed denial of service (DDoS) mitigation. Don further served as the President of Cryptwell Incorporated, a bitcoin services company that provided solutions for the cryptocurrency industry. Don's experience also includes being the Chief Technology Officer at Endless Tone, a Senior Software Engineer at Capax Global (a Hitachi Group Company), and a Lead Technical Consultant at SofterWare, Inc. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Product Development at Hitachi Solutions America, where they are responsible for new product development and driving customer success through leadership in technology, people, and process.

Don Scott has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science & Business from Lehigh University. Additionally, they also hold a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Financial Accounting from Lehigh University College of Business. Don Scott has obtained multiple certifications including being a Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional and Databricks Solutions Architect from Databricks. Don is also a Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and a Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate from Microsoft.
