John began their career in 1980 as a Region Vice President at Xerox Company and held this position for eight years. John then worked as the VP of Sales at Marcam from 1988 to 1993, followed by a role as VP of US Sales at Ross Systems from 1993 to 1995. John then joined Equifax as the Senior VP of US Sales from 1995 to 1997 before becoming Sr VP at MAPICS Inc. in Atlanta from 1997 to 2002. John went on to serve as CEO at CISTECH Inc. from 2002 to 2009 and as President at mcaConnect LLC from 2008 to 2009. John then held the position of Senior VP at I.B.I.S., Inc. from 2009 to 2011 before joining Hitachi Consulting as Director of Business Development in 2011. John later worked at Hitachi Solutions America, Ltd- Business Solution Group in various roles, including Director of Business Development and DBD, from 2011 to 2015.
John Koontz attended Western Carolina University from 1965 to 1970, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business.
