Kevin Currie

Kevin Currie has extensive work experience in fields such as data engineering, data analytics, and military operations. Kevin currently holds the position of Senior Director of Data Engineering at Hitachi Solutions America since 2022. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Data Analytics Leader at 3M, where they led a team responsible for capturing and transforming real-time sales data using modern technologies.

Before transitioning into the field of data, Kevin spent a significant part of their career in the United States Air Force, where they held various leadership roles. These roles included Director of Advanced Programs and F-15E Instructor Pilot, Inspector General, Director of Plans and Programs, and United States Air Attaché to South Africa, Swaziland, and Lesotho. Kevin also held positions such as Chief of Wing Scheduling, Liaison to the U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan, Air Liaison Officer, F-15E Flight Lead, and Air Force Training.

Kevin Currie has a solid education background in mathematics, operations research, economics, and business analytics. Kevin obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics, Operations Research, and Economics from the United States Air Force Academy, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Kevin then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mathematics at North Carolina State University from 1998 to 1999. Later in 2017 to 2018, Kevin enrolled at Columbia University, where they received a Micro-Masters degree in Business Analytics.
