Darren Sek

Darren Sek's work experience began in 1996 at Advantage Business Software (ABS) as an Account Manager, where they were responsible for sales and marketing of Infinium Software. Darren joined Sunway Business Applications in 1999 and progressed from Account Manager to Sales Director in 2005. During their time at Sunway, they managed a sales team and was a member of the company's Management Committee. In 2007, Darren joined Oracle Corporation Malaysia as a Senior Partner Development Manager, where they established a team to support Oracle Applications revenue and drove the ASEAN/SAGE Channels partners to exceed targets. In 2009, they moved to JD Edwards Malaysia as a Sales Manager, achieving the highest Oracle Applications revenue in the company's history and receiving the Oracle Applications Partner of the Year Award. Lastly, in 2014, Darren joined Hitachi Sunway Information Systems as the Head of Applications, where they played a pivotal role in turning around the division's P&L and received the company Sales High Achiever Award.

Darren Sek attended the National University of Malaysia (UKM) from 1988 to 1991. Darren pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration with double majors in Finance and Marketing. Prior to that, Darren studied at the Methodist Boys School in Kuala Lumpur, although the degree obtained and field of study during this period are unknown.
