Kok-Choong Tan has extensive experience in technical support and management, currently serving as the Global Support Centre Manager (APAC) at Hitachi Vantara since January 2010, where leadership of a team of remote technical support engineers is a key responsibility. Prior roles at Hitachi Vantara include Global Technical Support Specialist, providing worldwide support for HDS storage and software. With a background at Hewlett-Packard spanning from December 1995 to January 2010, Kok-Choong worked in various engineering capacities, delivering advanced hardware and software support for mission-critical accounts. A commitment to professional development is evident through numerous training sessions, including those in the US and Japan. Kok-Choong also contributed as the District Administration Manager for Toastmasters International District 102 from March to June 2020, managing district records and meeting documentation.
