Bharat Kaushal

Bharat Kaushal is a seasoned corporate leader with extensive experience in the banking and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Corporate Officer at Hitachi, Ltd. and Managing Director of Hitachi India since June 2017, Bharat Kaushal has played a crucial role in advancing the company's strategic objectives in India. Prior to this, Bharat Kaushal held significant positions at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation from April 2008 to July 2021, including Chairman in India, General Manager of the Planning Department for the APAC Division, and Managing Director of SMBC Capital India Private Limited. Educational qualifications include a degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, completed between 1996 and 1998.
