Mitsuo Iwasaki

Mitsuo Iwasaki is a seasoned professional with over three decades of experience at Hitachi, beginning in April 1991. Currently serving as Corporate Officer and Head of Japan Business, Iwasaki has held various leadership roles, including Head of Japan LoB Vehicles and Division Manager within the Railway Systems Business Unit, as well as Head of Design for the Global Rolling Stock System Design Department. Prior to these positions, Iwasaki worked as a Senior Design Engineer and Design Engineer at Hitachi Rail Europe from October 2016 to October 2018, where responsibilities included serving as Head of Technical. Iwasaki holds a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture from Kyushu University, obtained between 1988 and 1991.
