Ryo Yamamoto

Ryo Yamamoto is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Department Head of the SAP Deployment Team within the IT Strategy & Digital Integration Division at Hitachi since October 2022, overseeing SAP ERP implementation projects for group companies in Japan. Prior to this role, Ryo held several positions at Hitachi Europe and Hitachi Korea, including Senior Manager of the IT Group and General Manager of the IT Group, respectively, where Ryo managed IT departments and advanced RPA implementation projects. Ryo's earlier experience includes project management across Japan, China, and Taiwan, as well as roles in IT liaison and corporate IT engineering. Ryo holds an MBA with a focus on Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and International Business from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Tokyo University of Science.
