Taizo Hirabayashi

Taizo Hirabayashi is a seasoned sports professional with extensive experience in coaching and sports management, currently serving as Head Coach, Coaching Director, and Strategy and Tactics Coach at Hitachi Sun Nexsus since April 2023. Hirabayashi has been a spot coaching staff member for the British Triathlon Federation, contributing to gold medal successes at the ITU World Series Yokohama. As a Sports Ambassador for Miyazaki Prefecture since 2016, contributions have included involvement in major international events like the Rugby World Cup 2019 and the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Paralympic Games. With a background in tactical coaching at Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company and previous roles as an Executive Director at R2C Co., Ltd. and professional referee at the Japan Rugby Football Union, Hirabayashi has demonstrated a commitment to developing sports at both competitive and grassroots levels. Educationally, Hirabayashi holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in criminal law from Miyazaki Sangyo-keiei University.
