Diego Quiroz

Diego Quiroz is a Mining Product Specialist at Hitachi Construction Machinery Americas Inc. since June 2023, responsible for fostering relationships with mining customers and dealers across the Americas while providing exceptional service through a CRM system. Prior experience includes serving as a Maintenance Planning Engineer at Marcobre from October 2018 to May 2022, where Diego prepared and controlled maintenance plans for heavy equipment and optimized asset life. At Ferreyros S.A., Diego held the position of Maintenance and Repair Contract Planning Engineer from March 2016 to September 2018, managing contracts for Caterpillar mining trucks and developing maintenance plans to meet production objectives. Diego began in the industry as an intern at Ferreyros S.A. in 2015, gaining extensive knowledge of mining operations and engineering processes. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management from Cornell University, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Católica de Santa María, and various diplomas in Python, Maintenance Management, and Project Management.
