Gary Townsend

Gary Townsend is an experienced professional in the engineering and project management sectors, currently serving as West of England Project Manager at Hitachi Rail Europe since May 2013, where previous roles included Principal Support Engineer, Site Manager, and Maintainability Engineer. Prior to this, Gary held the position of Lead Project Support Engineer at Bombardier Transportation from March 2010 to May 2013 and served as a Weapon Engineer in the Royal Navy from October 2001 to March 2010. Gary Townsend holds a BEng Hons in Electronic Engineering from the University of Portsmouth and is a Chartered Engineer with The Institution of Engineering and Technology.
