Martin Kilby

Martin Kilby currently serves as the HR Projects & Applications Director at Hitachi Rail, a position held since June 2024. With a longstanding career at Thales since August 1985, Martin has held various roles including Workday Technical Design Authority, overseeing the global support and development of the Workday HRIS system for 65,000 employees across 56 countries, and serving as Project Director for the HRIS integration during the Gemalto acquisition. Additional responsibilities encompassed the global HR Applications and technology projects for the Ground Transportation Systems unit, as well as leading the segregation of HR applications in preparation for Hitachi's acquisition of GTS. Martin has also contributed as Workday Technical Programme Manager, deploying Workday HCM and Payroll solutions internationally, and has held leadership roles in operations, engineering, procurement, and project management across various divisions within Thales.
