Matthew Dobson

Matthew Dobson has over 18 years of work experience in various roles. Matthew started their career in 2003 as an Assistant Manager at Subway, responsible for daily deposits, inventory management, and ordering. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a WebMaster at Sahara Smoke, focusing on brand development, web traffic growth, and troubleshooting PC and network issues. Matthew then joined PracticeWorks, LLC as a Technical Support Representative from 2007 to 2009. At Carestream Dental, they served as a QA Engineer, Senior QA Engineer, and eventually as a Scrum Master from 2009 to 2018. Matthew further expanded their expertise as a QA Test Engineer and ScrumMaster at IQ Inc. from 2018 to 2019. Currently, they are employed at Hitachi Rail as a Project Test Lead since August 2021, overseeing quality assurance and testing projects.

Matthew Dobson, CSM has an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the Community College of Allegheny County, obtained from 2019 to 2021. Matthew also holds an AAS degree in Computer Networking from Ogeechee Technical College, achieved from 2005 to 2007. In addition to their education, Matthew has received various certifications, including Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in May 2016 and Certified Tester Foundation Level from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in 2019. Matthew has also obtained certifications in leadership and assertiveness, software testing, and bash scripting from LinkedIn and ProTech Enterprise IT Training & Consulting.
