Paul Carr

Paul Carr is an experienced Senior Test and Validation Engineer at Hitachi Rail, where a career has spanned from February 2016 to the present, encompassing various roles including Test and Commissioning Engineer, Test Section Leader, Test Engineer, and Test Technician. Prior to this role, Paul served at Babcock International Group from June 2011 to February 2016 as a Senior Technician in Avionics and Deputy Shift Supervisor, and as a Cross Trade Technician. Paul also brings a decade of experience from the Royal Air Force, where the role of Electronic/Electrical Technician was held from April 1999 to April 2011. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Engineering - BEng (Hons) in Engineering and a Diploma of Higher Education in Engineering from The Open University, as well as an NVQ in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering Technology/Technician (Avionics) from RAF Cosford and a GNVQ in engineering from Sunderland College.
