Rachel McAteer

Rachel McAteer is a Senior Buyer and Team Lead at Hitachi Rail since July 2021, with a focus on sourcing suppliers and negotiating purchase terms within the Direct Business Services Team. Prior to this role, Rachel served as a Senior Procurement Analyst and Procurement Analyst at Denali - WNS from May 2019 to June 2021. Rachel's early experience includes a position as a Master of Science student at the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business, where studies emphasized Supply Chain Management. An accomplished graduate, Rachel earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, graduating Magna Cum Laude and receiving the Outstanding Senior Award from Alpha Kappa Psi. Additional experience includes a Fund Development Internship with Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania, where significant fundraising contributions were made.
