Karl Sundberg

Karl Sundberg is an experienced process engineer currently employed at Hitchiner Manufacturing since November 2021, progressing from Process Engineer to Process Engineer II. Karl has a long-standing role as a soccer referee for the United States Soccer Federation, officiating high-level youth and adult matches. Previous experience includes working as an Irrigation Installation Specialist at Interstate Irrigation, focusing on custom irrigation system design and installation. Earlier positions include mechanical engineering roles at Smiths Interconnect and Millitech, where Karl contributed to product redesign and component packaging. Educational achievements include a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, supplemented by research and lab assistant roles there. Additionally, Karl's involvement in VEX Robotics as a competitor led to recognition in regional tournaments.
