Kurt Markarian

Kurt Markarian is an experienced quality management professional with a strong background in engineering. Currently serving as the Quality Control Manager at Hitchiner Manufacturing since November 2024, Kurt previously held the position of Quality Engineer IV at Benchmark from January 2023 to December 2024. Prior to this, Kurt worked at Safran Optics 1 from July 2017 to November 2022, where roles included Senior Operations Program Manager, Director of Quality, Quality Manager, and Senior Quality Engineer. Earlier in career, Kurt spent over 11 years at L-3 Communication Systems – East as a Quality Systems Engineer. Kurt earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell between 1983 and 1987.
