Juan Carlos Gutierrez

Mr. Gutierrez is a global information technology and business consulting executive with more than two decades in top leadership roles in Global 500 organizations and national non-profits.

He has recently joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as Head of Latam Solution Architecture and Customer Success. Mr. Gutierrez was previously the CEO and Managing Partner of rational7 a leader Digital Consulting firm. Mr. Gutierrez is a former Managing Director from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he was the partner leader of Technology Consulting for the Hispanic America Advisory Services region and leader of the US Cloud Transformation Services practice.

Mr. Gutierrez is a former Oracle Corporation Group Vice President veteran. At Oracle, he was responsible for the consulting business for the Latin America and Caribbean regions for almost a decade. Prior to Oracle Corporation, he worked in different top executive positions in the Americas at PeopleSoft, marchFIRST Latin America and Oracle Corporation.

Mr. Gutierrez is a Board Member of HITEC (Hispanic IT Executive Council) and a Board Member of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. He is a former Board Member of CHLI (The Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute).

Mr. Gutierrez expertise in business and technology consulting has been constantly recognized in the Americas. He has been awarded 7 times a HITEC100 top IT executive from 2009 to 2019. He was also recognized in 2014 by Great Minds in STEM, as the Information Technology executive of the year, and was named one of the Most Influential Hispanics in Technology by the Hispanic Engineer & Information Technology Magazine in 2011.

Mr. Gutierrez is a Computer Engineer who graduated from the University Simon Bolivar of Venezuela, with graduate degrees in Management in Telecommunications from the University Simon Bolivar and the “Institut National des Télécommunications” of France.
