Ovidio Ruiz Jr

Ovidio Ruiz Jr is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in automation and system engineering. Currently serving as an Emerging Executive Program Fellow at HITEC since March 2022, Ruiz is involved in a prestigious leadership program aimed at developing high-potential technology executives. With a career spanning over three decades, Ruiz has held significant roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and its predecessor companies, including Automation System Engineer and Vice President Manager Platform Development, where contributions included standardizing automation tools and programming in REXX to streamline systems operations. Ruiz's career began at Chemical Bank as a Cooperative Education Student, progressing through various technical roles to become a recognized specialist in automation within the banking sector. Educationally, Ruiz holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Science from Somerset Community College.
