Yamila H. Harris

Yamila is a dynamic global IT executive, public speaker and mentor with over 25 years of leadership experience across multiple Information Technology and Business disciplines including IT Service Delivery, Organizational Change Leadership, Workplace Services and End User Experience, Contact Center Technology Services, Network Services and Tools Optimization, and Healthcare IT Innovation.

She started her career in Healthcare as a pioneer of early EMR and Managed Healthcare software solutions, and has since spent much of her career leading cross-functional/cross-industry global teams and driving innovation at transformational companies including Dell, HP, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Atos. Most recently, Yamila joined the senior IT executive leadership team at Munich Re – one of the world’s leading providers of reinsurance and insurance-related risk solutions. Leveraging their unrivalled expertise in all aspects of risk, Munich Re is redefining the boundaries of insurance and digitally transforming the global insurance landscape to deliver innovative solutions for their clients.

Yamila is very passionate about leading technology transformation with a truly customer-centric focus, developing a culture of innovation, and cultivating and empowering diverse teams. Her leadership, innovation and strong customer focus have earned her numerous accolades throughout the course of her career including most recently being named a 2020 Great Minds in STEM Luminary Award recipient, the 2020 Stetson University Business School Foundation Ted Surynt Leadership Award winner, and the honor of her 4th consecutive HITEC 100 Award.
