Precious Itolima has a diverse work experience that spans several roles and organizations. They currently serve as the National Vice President of the National Bamboo Farmers Processors and Marketers Association of Nigeria, where they coordinate activities across six states in south-south Nigeria related to bamboo and rattan development. Prior to this, Precious held the role of Managing Director at P.I Nature LTD. They also served as the Hive Port Harcourt lead at Hive Global, a Research Technologist at Rivers State University of Science and Technology, and a Monitoring and Evaluation officer at both Impart For Reproductive Health Initiative and Impact on Reproductive Health Initiative. Precious also worked at Pact as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, where they were involved in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems, building staff capacity, and performing data analysis and reporting.
Precious Itolima's education history includes the following:
1. From 2017 to 2018, Precious attended Rivers State University and obtained a Master of Science (MSc.) degree in Marine Biology and Pollution.
2. In 2012 to 2013, Precious pursued a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Geography and Environmental Management from the University of Port Harcourt.
3. Between 2003 and 2008, Precious obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Applied and Environmental Biology from Rivers State University of Science and Technology.
Additionally, Precious is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Marine Biology and Pollution at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology.
In terms of certifications, Precious obtained the ASU GSV Virtual Summit 2020 certification from ASU GSV Summit in October 2020.
