Ximena Cortes Latorre

Ximena Cortes Latorre is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) management. Currently serving as Líder de productos y servicios and Director Integral de Servicios at Colmena Seguros since May 2015, Ximena previously held roles such as Tutor at SGS Academy, where responsibilities included training in integral management systems and emergency preparedness. Ximena has also worked as an HSE consultant at Gestionar Colombia Ltda and CRM Services, where expertise included implementing HSEQ management systems and overseeing safe chemical handling in various sectors. Additionally, Ximena contributed as a professor and consultant for a partnership between Ecopetrol S.A. and Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano, focusing on OHSAS 18001 certification processes. Ximena holds a Specialist degree in Industrial Safety, Hygiene, and Environmental Management from Fundación Universitaria Agraria de Colombia and an Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Fundación Universidad de América.
