Dr. Horváth Kornél has a strong background in compliance and regulatory affairs. Their most recent position was as the Head of Cabinet at Hiventures, where they were responsible for establishing and operating the compliance system, anti-money laundering system, and preparing for GDPR. Prior to this, they served as the Director of EU and Corporate Compliance and Director of Compliance at Hiventures. dr. Horváth also worked as a Compliance Officer at MFB Hungarian Development Bank and served as an Irregularity Officer at the Ministry for National Economy and MAG - Magyar Gazdaságfejlesztési Központ Zrt. Overall, Dr. Horváth has extensive experience in compliance and regulatory roles within various organizations.

Dr. Horváth Kornél completed their education at two different institutions. From 2006 to 2009, they attended Corvinus University of Budapest, where they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration. Subsequently, from 2009 to 2013, they enrolled in Pázmány Péter Katolikus Egyetem and received their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law. In addition to their formal education, Dr. Horváth Kornél obtained a certification as an AML/CFT specialist from the Budapest Institute of Banking (BIB) in April 2019.
