Joseph Caravalho serves as the President and CEO of The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine since September 2017. In addition, Joseph holds several leadership roles including Member of the Board of Directors for the Wounded Warrior Project and Chair of the Board of Directors for CAMRIS. Joseph is also President of HJF Medical Research International and a Trustee at Gonzaga University. Previous experience includes notable positions such as Joint Staff Surgeon for the Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Deputy Surgeon General of the US Army. Joseph's educational background features a Master's degree in Military Strategic Studies from The United States Army War College and an MD from the Uniformed Services University.
