James Thompson

James Thompson is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in commercial leadership and strategic development across various industries. Currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Hjort Knudsen A/S since May 2025, James previously held roles including Managing Director at Ekornes Ltd, where significant sales growth from €16 million to €33 million was achieved through innovative initiatives. James has also contributed as Senior Vice President - Commercial Europe and Geschäftsführer at Ekornes AS and Ekornes Möbelvertriebs GmbH, respectively. Prior to these positions, James was the Director of Retail & Revenue at Sandals Resorts International, overseeing a substantial division and multi-national team.
