John R. Kibblehouse, Jr.

VP & Assistant Secretary at H&K Group, Inc.

Mr. John R. Kibblehouse, Jr. is Vice President of Business Development and Secretary for H&K Group, Inc. (H&K), one of the Mid-Atlantic Region’s largest privately owned and operated heavy civil construction and construction materials companies. H&K will celebrate a half-century of business excellence in 2018.

John Kibblehouse, Jr., or “Johnny” as he is known within his executive ranks at H&K, is the second son of father and Co-Chairman of the Board of H&K, John R. “Jack” Kibblehouse. Johnny is the middle sibling of older brother Kenneth Kibblehouse, and younger sister, Traci Kibblehouse Miller, Vice President and member of H&K’s Board of Directors. Among his second-generation peers, Johnny is positioned as a charismatic, outgoing leader and entrepreneur with a solid feel for both the contracting and the materials side of the business. In his current position with the corporation, Johnny is committed to fostering continued growth and diversity at The H&K Group Family of Companies.

Prior to earning his current position with the corporation, Johnny spent his entire formative years learning the inner workings of the business, literally from the ground up. Entering the company on a full-time basis in 1980, Johnny began working first for H&K in the field (or the labor end), and then transitioned inside to estimating and project management. Johnny spent over twenty years on the contracting side of the business prior to taking on a management position with the company in 2000. As Johnny’s career with H&K has shadowed the contracting segment of the company, he remains dedicated to fostering H&K’s presence and strength as one of the Mid-Atlantic Region’s largest site contracting companies.

Johnny states his personal and business mission to be a complete dedication to responsible ownership and oversight of the company’s future and upholding the reputation for quality, honesty, and customer satisfaction that H&K has built over its 50-year history.
