Alex Wang Longxiao

Alex Wang Longxiao has extensive experience in technology leadership and engineering across prominent companies. Currently serving as CTO and Director at HK01 since February 2017, Alex previously held the position of VP of Engineering at 9GAG from 2013 to December 2016, contributing to a top-ranked social media platform. Prior to that, Alex was Director of Technology at The Red Flag Group, enhancing compliance solutions for major Fortune 500 companies. Alex's earlier roles include Senior Engineer Manager at Yahoo! in Beijing, where significant contributions were made to core search technologies, and System Analyst at Alibaba.com. Alex's career began as a Web Engineer at the Computer Network Information Center, CAS, where key projects focused on China's National Data Grid. Educational qualifications include an MPhil in Computer Science from the Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and a B.E. in Computer Science from ZheJiang Sci-Tech University.
