Jeffrey G Matthews, CPA, CFE, is a highly experienced professional in forensic accounting and financial disputes, currently serving as a Partner at HKA since May 2024. Matthews leads a team focused on forensic accounting investigations and commercial damages in HKA's Dallas office. Additionally, Matthews has been an Accounting Professor at the University of Texas at Arlington since August 2012, where financial fraud investigation methodologies are taught. As an Arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Matthews engages in dispute resolution within the financial sector. With a notable history in leadership roles, including past president of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and various positions at StoneTurn, Weaver, Charles River Associates, LECG, and Grant Thornton, Matthews brings a wealth of knowledge to the field. Educationally, Matthews earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Louisiana Monroe.
