Ronald Leung has over a decade of professional experience in various roles. Ronald began their career in 2008 as a Securities Services Associate in Wholesale Banking at Standard Chartered Bank. In 2009, they moved to a role as an Assurance at EY. In 2014, they took on the role of Trainee Solicitor at King & Wood Mallesons. From 2016 to 2018, they were an Associate at BNP Paribas. Ronald then moved to Mayer Brown in 2018 as an Associate. In 2020, they became a Consultant at CLM Lawyers. Ronald is currently a Director of Legal at HKbitEX, a position they have held since 2022.
Ronald Leung obtained a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Michigan in 2009. Ronald then went on to obtain a Juris Doctor and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from the City University of Hong Kong in 2013. In 2016, they were granted a Solicitor license by the High Court of Hong Kong. Later that year, they also obtained a Licensed Representative license from the Securities and Futures Commission. In 2012, they were granted a Certified Public Accountant license by the Washington State Board of Accountancy. Finally, in 2018, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Hong Kong. Ronald is also a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
