Hugh Barber

Hugh Barber is a seasoned legal professional with over 27 years of trial experience, currently serving as the Managing Partner of the Trial Practice Division at HKM Employment Attorneys LLP since January 2021. In this role, Hugh represents individual clients nationwide in matters of employment discrimination, utilizing extensive jury trial experience as a prosecutor to enhance the skills of HKM attorneys and improve client recovery rates. Prior to this position, Hugh worked as a Senior Deputy Prosecutor for King County, WA, from November 1993 to December 2020, focusing on prosecuting a range of serious criminal cases, particularly in sex crimes and crimes against children during the final nine years of service. Hugh holds a Juris Doctor degree from Seattle University School of Law, earned between 1987 and 1990.
