Dan Getz

Partner, Global Practice Director, Structures at HKS

Dan Getz is an Associate Principal Structural Engineer at HKS Inc, where since March 2002, expertise in structural engineering services encompasses planning, development, and construction of a variety of building types. Responsibilities include code interpretation, computer-aided structural analysis, detailing, documentation using BIM, and providing construction management services. Prior to this role, Dan Getz served as a Research & Teaching Assistant at The Pennsylvania State University, focusing on seismic connections for AAC cladding panels and assisting in teaching a structural analysis course. Early career experience includes summer internships at Architecture Plus and HBE Corporation. Dan Getz holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering & Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and furthered education at Penn State University.
