Julie Hiromoto

Director of Integration & Principal at HKS

Julie Hiromoto is the Director of Integration & Principal at HKS, INC. Julie has over 20 years of experience in balancing design excellence and technical expertise to realize complex and large-scale commercial, residential and mixed-use towers (including One World Trade Center), hospitality and corporate headquarter interiors, and urban design master planning. In addition to their work at HKS, Julie is also an Adjunct Instructor at New York University and the Principal at the Center for Architecture Science and Ecology. Julie is a recognized leader in the local and national sustainable design community and an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion advocate.

Julie Hiromoto received their Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Julie then went on to earn their Master of Architecture from Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. Julie is also WELL Accredited Professional and Living Future Accredited through the International Living Future Institute, and is a LEED AP through the U.S. Green Building Council.

They work with Fred Ortiz - Global Practice Director, Sports & Entertainment, & Principal, Frank Kittredge - Principal & Director of Advisory Services, and Rand Ekman - Chief Sustainability Officer & Principal. Their manager is Dan Noble, President & CEO.
