Peter Barden

Peter Barden currently serves as Vice President & Senior Project Manager at HKS, Inc. since February 2021. Prior to this role, Peter held positions as Design Manager at Hourigan from March 2015 to January 2021 and as Architect and Senior Associate at Commonwealth Architects from May 2005 to March 2015. The latter firm specializes in adaptive reuse, mixed-use projects, and historic investment tax credits. Peter's early career includes internships at Beyond Ordinary Boundaries Architecture, Glave & Holmes Associates, and McInturff Architects, beginning with a model maker position at McInturff Architects in 2001. Peter completed a Bachelor of Architecture degree at Virginia Tech from 1998 to 2003 and graduated from Godwin High School in 1998.
