Shuting Lai

Shuting Lai is a Structural Engineer in Training at HKS, Inc., beginning in July 2023. Previously, Shuting served as a Teaching Assistant at Northwestern University from April 2023 to June 2023, and held a similar position at Zhejiang University-University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign Institute from September 2020 to June 2021. Experience includes a Summer Engineering Internship at LUSAS in 2022 and a role as a Civil Structural Designer at 华东建筑设计研究总院 ECADI in July 2021, where Shuting researched building samples involving cables and compared relevant codes. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from Northwestern University (2023) and dual Bachelor degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Zhejiang University (2022).
