Matthijs Kok

Matthijs Kok is a distinguished professional in the field of flood risk management, currently serving as a Senior Advisor for HKV lijn in water since February 2015 and as a Professor of Flood Risk at Delft University of Technology since September 2012. At Delft University, Matthijs Kok leads the research program All-Risk within the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences, Department of Hydraulic Engineering. Prior to these roles, Matthijs Kok was the Scientific Director at HKV Consultants from 1995 to February 2014 and worked as a researcher at Delft Hydraulics from 1986 to 1995. Matthijs Kok holds a degree from the University of Twente.
